Shipping/Receiving & Material Clerk – 1st Shift

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Our company is a manufacturing operation specializing in pharmaceutical punch-out packaging and custom coffee sleeves. Employees value the teamwork, consistent hours, and hands-on experience gained while supporting production through efficient inventory management, shipping, and receiving operations.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a warehouse environment, staying organized, and ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently throughout the facility while building long-term manufacturing experience.

Job Summary
The Shipping/Receiving & Material Clerk is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supplying production with the materials needed to keep operations running efficiently. This role plays a key part in supporting production schedules, maintaining organization, and ensuring timely customer shipments.

Job Duties
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Prepare, package, and ship finished products according to customer specifications.
  • Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Deliver materials to production lines to maintain workflow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies or shipping issues to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Perform other warehouse and production support duties as assigned.
Pay: $15.75/hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM CST
Overtime on Fridays based on production needs.

Experience or Skill Requirements
  • Previous shipping/receiving, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and inventory tracking skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to remain productive during slower periods.
  • Ability to follow all company safety procedures.
