Assembles minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations. Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line. Division Overview - Astral
Astral Industries: Astral Industries is a premier manufacturer of high-quality steel burial caskets, offering a diverse range of products including metal, solid wood, engineered wood, veneer wood, and cremation caskets. Position Overview
This position can be assigned to any of the three main production departments within the manufacturing facility. This is a first shift position with either a 5:00am or 7:00am start time.
  • Stamping: The primary function of this department is to stamp the parts for the metal burial caskets using different types of presses depending on the part that is needed.
  • Assembly: The primary function of this department is to weld and grind the stamped parts of the metal burial caskets.
  • Finish: The primary function of this department is to install the finishing parts of the metal burial caskets. This includes, but not limited to, bed, mattress, fabric coverings, hardware, panels, etc.
