Job description

Warehouse Sanitation Associate

Behind every order is a team making sure the warehouse is clean, safe, and ready to operate.

At Ferraro Foods, our sanitation team plays a critical role in maintaining the environment that keeps product moving so our customers across the food industry get what they need, when they need it.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Sanitation Associate who takes pride in cleanliness, safety, and supporting the team behind the scenes.

This role is internally titled Warehouse Multifunction Associate.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of warehouse floors, racks, equipment, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules to meet food safety standards
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
• Remove trash, recycling, and waste to designated disposal areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and sanitation tools
• Operate a motorized pallet jack to move materials, equipment, or waste as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
• Complete and maintain sanitation logs and records as required
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or sanitation concerns
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Support general warehouse operations as needed
