DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
FLSA STATUS: PT-Hourly (Non-Exempt)
COMPENSATION: $26.75

Position Summary: The Warehouse Runner for the ONT Field will be responsible for monitoring inventory for Food and Beverage Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive ordered goods and ensure order agrees to receiving report.
  • Transfer food and beverage items to concession stands according to Food and Beverage procedures.
  • Direct storage, preparation and service of concession merchandise.
  • Notify management when inventory needs and assure necessary inventory is ordered, stocked and available.
  • Ensure adequate storage of merchandise by continual supervision of stock levels.
  • Ensure warehouse is clean and neat. Rotate inventory to minimize spoilage.
  • Maintain and reconcile all pertinent logs, transfer sheets and ensure that all transfers are documented.
  • Ensure that proper sanitations procedures are followed.
  • All other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Experience/Training/Education:
  • Required: Minimum of six (6) months work experience in service-oriented environment.
  • Experience in a food and beverage setting required.

License/Certificate:
A valid food handler's card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. The certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date
TIPS Certification
Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have working knowledge of Food and Beverage operations, including inventory, management and purchasing procedures.
  • Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Computer Skills:
  • Computer knowledge required
  • Strong computer skills with Windows platform, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
This position requires stooping and lifting. Substantial walking and manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as a computer is required. Warehouse runner must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. This position requires working in an office, warehouse, and concession stand setting in addition to the physical requirements of continuous walking, lifting and standing for long periods of time. Tasks may include; pushing, pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 50 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Must be able to pass background. Employee should use precautions & follow safety guidelines.
