We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Checker to join our warehouse operations team. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy, quality, and completeness of inbound and outbound inventory before products are stored or shipped. The Warehouse Checker serves as a critical quality control partner, ensuring inventory integrity by identifying discrepancies, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records.

You have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment. Success in this role requires accuracy, accountability, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect pallets, cartons, and inventory after receiving, labeling, and staging processes are completed
  • Verify products, quantities, and item descriptions against purchase orders, manifests, packing lists, and shipping documentation
  • Identify and report shortages, overages, damages, and inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Confirm that labels are accurate, properly applied, and clearly legible
  • Document findings and communicate discrepancies to warehouse leadership and receiving teams
  • Coordinate with forklift operators, warehouse associates, and inventory personnel to resolve inventory issues
  • Perform inventory audits, spot checks, and cycle count verification as assigned
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and inventory adjustments using paper and electronic systems
  • Support receiving, shipping, and inventory control functions during peak operational periods
  • Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to verify inventory transactions
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse operating standards
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support operational needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse experience in inventory control, receiving, auditing, quality control, or warehouse checking roles preferred
  • Strong ability to read and interpret packing lists, manifests, bills of lading, and purchase orders
  • Experience using RF scanners, inventory management systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
