About Precon Events
Precon Events is a leader in live event production, known for creating memorable experiences through the combined expertise of our Producers, Technical Directors, Project Managers, and event specialists. We are hiring seasonal, as-needed, event crew and stagehands to support live event builds and strikes throughout the DC metro area.
Position Summary
This is a seasonal, hourly position supporting event production, scenic installs, warehouse prep, and on-site event execution. Crew members work under the direction of Precon production leads as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and flexible schedules.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with event load-ins, setups, strikes, and load-outs
  • Support installation of scenic elements, staging, pipe and drape, furniture, and dรฉcor
  • Assist with basic shop and warehouse prep, packing, and equipment movement
  • Load and unload trucks and move equipment safely on-site
  • Follow instructions from production leadership to ensure efficient and safe execution

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Comfortable performing physical work and lifting 50+ lbs
  • Ability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as event schedules require
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to take direction and work efficiently in live event environments

Preferred
  • Prior experience in events, stagehand work, theater, scenic, construction, or warehouse roles
  • Comfort using basic hand tools
  • Valid driver's license
