Job description

The Gustave A Larson Company is looking for our next team member to join us as a Warehouse Attendant/Driver (Non-CDL). What qualities are we looking for?

  • Job is Monday-Friday, No Holidays or Weekends!
  • Team atmosphere, working together to accomplish daily unloads, will calls, stocking
  • Looking for a team player to drive customer service - you work with customers daily
  • The ability to think on your feet, move with a purpose, have problem solving skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred, good safety record

What Will You Do as a Warehouse Attendant and Driver?

This position is first and foremost a delivery driver position, but you will need to work in the warehouse weekly. You have to have or be able to obtain a FEDMED card.

  • An active role in the warehouse receiving, shipping, and pulling refill orders for multiple locations
  • Driving to those branches in Owensboro and Evansville to drop off refill orders
  • Transport and deliver parts and equipment to customers and/or job sites.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Operate and assist in regular maintenance of an electric-powered forklift.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Pull refill/order memos, stocking, data entry, and checking products to be shipped against shipping orders.

What Does It Take to Become a Warehouse Attendant and Driver?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in warehouse roles
  • Clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Solid communication skills and receptive to direct supervision.
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime required.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk/stand/stoop throughout the day.
  • Have a valid FedMed card or the ability to obtain one
