Job description

This position is a great fit for anyone who has experience or is interested in logistics and distribution fields. This position will be given thorough hands-on training.
The most common jobs that are performed by our 2nd shift employees are as follows:
Replenishment - Replenishers refill the locations that Pickers take product from, ensuring there is enough product in each "location" to be able to send out every day.
Slotting - Slotters move and relocate product into various locations throughout the warehouse with the intention of improving our "Pick Paths".
Secondary jobs that 2nd shift will assist with in peak seasons are:
Picking - Pickers follow instructions given to them via a handheld scanning computer and go to various "locations" throughout the warehouse to place product into cartons that are then shipped to customers and stores.
Shipping - A shipper's job is to load trailer with product that will be going to our customers and stores.
JDC Associates are expected to participate in the daily activities and operations of the Journeys Distribution Center.
Expectations are:
Stand, bend, stoop, and walk on concrete and grated floors for the entirety of your shift, lift up to 45lbs. and climb stairs.
Being reliable and consistent with your schedule and work hours.
Must be at least 18 years old
Help keep the warehouse clean and safe.
Utilize a hand-held computer for various functions and departments.
Perform multiple tasks within the warehouse that could vary daily, weekly and monthly.
