Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Receiving Manager to oversee receiving operations at a General Motors accessory distribution warehouse in the St. Louis, Missouri area. The Receiving Manager will be responsible for ensuring that incoming automotive accessories and related products are received accurately, efficiently, and safely while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting warehouse service requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse leadership experience and hands-on experience using NetSuite as a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or a comparable inventory and warehouse management platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, verification, and system receipt of incoming merchandise.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate receiving personnel.
  • Coordinate inbound deliveries with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse operations.
  • Verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
  • Process receipts and maintain accurate inventory transactions within NetSuite WMS.
  • Use NetSuite to research inventory, receiving records, purchase orders, discrepancies, and product information.
  • Ensure damaged, short, over, or incorrect shipments are properly documented and resolved.
  • Investigate and correct receiving and inventory discrepancies in NetSuite.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled, staged, and moved to designated storage locations.
  • Monitor receiving productivity, accuracy, safety, and service levels.
  • Ensure receiving procedures are consistently followed and accurately reflected in NetSuite.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
  • Work closely with Inventory Control, Shipping, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other departments.
  • Identify process improvements that increase receiving efficiency, inventory accuracy, and warehouse throughput.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Prepare and communicate receiving and inventory performance reports and metrics to warehouse management.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in receiving or automotive parts/accessories.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite WMS is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, and warehouse procedures.
  • Experience working with purchase orders, inventory transactions, and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn and utilize NetSuite functionality effectively.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to safely operate or oversee the use of material-handling equipment, as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or logistics certification is a plus.
