Job description

As the Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our books and merchandise get to customers in a timely manner. You will carry out daily shipping duties, including stocking, packaging, and shipment and receipt of packages, while also assisting with facilities duties as needed.
The Warehouse Associate will:
  • Accurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped, ensuring proper shipping method and charges
  • Load and unload freight shipments
  • Accurately triage incoming shipments, including shipments for the warehouse, purchasing admin, and individual staff
  • Keep the supply room stocked, notify the manager if stock is running low, and maintain the orderliness of the warehouse and supply room
  • Assist with basic facilities tasks, including moving furniture and mounting items to walls
  • Comply with safety standards set by Management
  • Coordinate with other administrative staff to confirm or investigate shipping inquiries
  • Complete other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned
The ideal candidate has:
  • Warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Warehouse equipment certification (preferred)
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Comfort with physical tasks, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and sitting for extended periods
