A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Produce architectural documents for permit submittal as well as construction
- Develop preliminary designs into construction documents
- Review and coordinate construction documents content with construction project manager and consultants
- Provide site and space planning for construction project managers
- Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants
- Prepare presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations)
- Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers
- Review project scope with construction project managers
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years experience on light industrial (warehouse, distribution, cold storage) and/or commercial projects
- Revit and AutoCAD required; 3D rendering experience preferred
- Licensure a plus, but not required. GMA supports the pursuit of licensure
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
