Were looking for a reliable, safety-minded, and hardworking Floor Scrubber/Buffer Machine Operator to join our team at a warehouse facility in Arvin, CA. This position is primarily focused on independently operating floor cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional warehouse environment.

While your primary responsibilities will be performed independently, there may be opportunities to step in as a Job Coach when needed and work directly alongside individuals VIP supports.

Schedules Offered

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate a warehouse floor sweeper at the beginning of each shift to clean designated areas.
• Operate a floor scrubber to clean designated warehouse areas.
• Empty and dispose of trash in designated black trash bins near the compactor.
• Fill the floor scrubber with water and properly empty and clean its waste tank.
• Use a dust broom, mop, and bucket to clean areas that cannot be reached by the sweeper or scrubber, including corners, walls, and walkways.
• Coordinate with the Nestl shift supervisor to safely turn off LGVs as needed to clean designated areas.
• Respond to and clean up emergency spills as needed.
• Empty trash into the compactor daily.
• Pressure wash and thoroughly clean the scrubber's waste tank at the end of each shift.
• Clean the lift wash area after servicing the scrubber, ensuring no waste or debris remains on the floor.
• Empty all trash bins in the lift wash area.
• Use a mop and bucket to remove any excess water left behind by the floor scrubber.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment throughout the shift.
• Occasionally assisting as a Job Coach when needed, which may include working directly with individuals VIP supports

What We're Looking For

• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean work environment
• Comfortable operating or learning to operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other industrial cleaning equipment
• Previous warehouse, janitorial, sanitation, or machine operation experience is preferred
• Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines
• Ability to identify and report safety hazards, spills, equipment problems, or maintenance concerns
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and being on your feet for extended periods
• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• A valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required

Compensation

• Competitive pay: $18.00 $19.00 per hour
