OPEN INTERVIEWS:
Join us on Thursday, August 20th, from 4:00 PM–7:00 PM at 171 Weidner Road, Rochester, NY 14624 (please enter through the Visitor Entrance) to interview for our Full-Time Warehouse Order Picker – Overnight position. Please bring a resume!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Selects, assembles, palletizes, and otherwise handles cases, boxes, bags, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, proteins, and related products as identified on pick tickets, in the quantities specified, for delivery
  • Safely operates pallet jacks and stock pickers
  • Accountable for meeting productivity, accuracy, and safety work standards
  • Assists with training and development of new associates

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or a GED
  • 1+ years’ experience loading and selecting merchandise in a warehouse
  • 1-2 years’ experience with electric power equipment
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills to properly identify products and mark them for delivery
  • Ability to understand the slot-sequencing layout of the warehouse and labels that are placed on selected products
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures in order to select product from refrigerated, frozen, and dry picking locations
  • Ability to follow instructions to work safely, efficiently, and accurately using company provided equipment
  • Ability to lift products weighing between 40-60 lbs

Salary:

  • 19.00/ hour plus a performance incentive

Shift:

  • Sunday – Thursday 6:30 PM – finish (up to 6:30 AM)

  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse
  • Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10
  • Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
  • Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
