This is an on-site role based in Mississauga, ON

Working Hours: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm

SUMMARY: We are recruiting for a full-time general warehouse employee.  In this role, you will be trained to work in order picking/packing. Previous warehouse experience, including the use of RF equipment and forklifts, is helpful but not required. Solid work history preferred, but if you are just starting out, a strong work ethic is essential.

SALARY: 18.35 per/hr.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately pick orders in a variety of methods, i.e. pick to cart, box, jiffy utilizing  R.F. gun.
  • Utilization of WMS.
  • Must be able to be trained to use the computer system, including RF equipment.
  • Operate in a safe, neat, and orderly manner.
  • Certified Machine Operator is an asset.
  • Maintain good attendance and dependability.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisor and employees effectively.
  • Ability to complete assignments within established timelines.
  • Ability to complete work under general supervision.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a distribution environment is preferred.
  • Experience operating counterbalance and Raymond Reach is an asset.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.  The employee will frequently be required to stoop, kneel and crouch.  The employee occasionally will be required to sit, climb ladder or steps, or balance.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
