Job description

TITLE: Driver / Warehouse Associate
Salary Level: Hourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Store
Rev Date: 5.29.2025
Reports to: Branch Manager
Position Summary:
Operates commercial vehicle to transport and deliver heating and air conditioning products parts, and other materials to customers or Insco locations. Will also be responsible for performing warehouse and counter sales duties at the branch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsibly transports and loads/unloads items to a customer’s job site, place of business, or other assigned destination
  • Build strong relationships with the customers to ensure that we continue to deliver outstanding customer experience
  • Inspect truck pre and post trip to ensure everything, including emergency, mechanical and safety gear, is in working order
  • Performs required minor maintenance and keeps the vehicle clean
  • Obtain and maintain necessary documentation such as proof of delivery/pick up, driver logs, truck condition forms, maintenance logs, etc.
  • Collects/picks up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise
  • Assist with branch operations such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, cycle counts/inventory, etc.
  • Supports the branch with counter sales support
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, amp; Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Experience with data entry and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Forklift certification and ability to maintain certification.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle products safely.
Education amp; Experience:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One year HVAC industry experience
  • General knowledge of HVAC products preferred
  • At least one year’s experience or driver’s certificate from driving training school
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Physical Demands:
  • Required to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, twist, stretch, kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and move about the facility for the entirety of the shift.
  • Regularly talk, hear, read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material, payment processing
Work Environment:
  • Location of position: San Antonio, Texas
  • Background checks and drug tests required
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Work will generally be performed in a retail work amp; warehouse environment.
  • May be exposed to Warehouse/Shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
  • May be required to work hours other than the regular schedule
