Warehouse, Pipe Yard, Forklift & Shop Roles


TruBlu HR Solutions is hiring for multiple hands-on industrial openings in the Houston area. These roles are a strong fit for people with warehouse, pipe yard, forklift, shipping/receiving, order pulling, packing, inventory, quality control, machine shop support, or shipping coordination experience.


PVF experience is highly preferred for several openings. PVF stands for pipe, valves, and fittings, and may include handling pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, or related industrial materials in a warehouse, pipe yard, shipping, receiving, or order pulling environment.


Pay varies by position, shift, experience, and location.


Available Openings:

  • Pipe Yard Helper - 1st & 2nd Shift - $15.00/hr
    Assists with pipe yard duties, moving pipe and related materials, keeping work areas organized, and supporting daily yard operations. 2nd shift includes a $2.00/hr shift differential.
  • Maintenance / Grounds - Day Shift - $15.50/hr
    Helps maintain shop, yard, and grounds areas through general upkeep, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Saw Operator - Day Shift - $16.00-$17.00/hr
    Operates saw equipment to cut materials to required specifications while following shop safety procedures.
  • Warehouse Packer - 1st & 2nd Shift - $16.00-$18.00/hr
    Packs materials for shipment, prepares orders, labels products, and helps keep warehouse areas organized. 2nd shift includes a $1.00/hr shift differential.
  • Cycle Counter - Day Shift - $16.00-$18.00/hr
    Performs inventory counts, verifies materials, tracks discrepancies, and helps maintain accurate warehouse inventory. Industrial experience, accuracy, and attention to detail are important for this role.
  • Material Handler / Shop Operator - 1st Shift - $17.00-$18.00/hr
    Assists machine shop personnel, loads and unloads finished pieces from machines, places finished materials on pallets, helps with shop upkeep, and supports shipping.
  • Heavy Duty Forklift Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift - $18.00-$20.00/hr
    Operates heavy-duty forklifts to move, stage, load, and unload large pipe and heavy industrial materials. Experience moving long or heavy pipe is needed, and comfort using tablets or inventory systems is preferred. 2nd shift includes a $2.00/hr shift differential.
  • Order Puller - 1st & 2nd Shift - $18.00-$20.00/hr
    Pulls customer orders, stages materials, checks accuracy, and helps prepare pipe, valves, fittings, or related industrial products for shipment. PVF experience is highly preferred but not required for every opening. 2nd shift includes a $1.00/hr shift differential.
  • Order Puller - Valve Department - 1st Shift - $18.00-$20.00/hr
    Pulls valve-related orders, verifies materials, stages products, and supports shipping and warehouse operations. Experience with valves, fittings, flanges, or related industrial materials is highly preferred.
  • Receiving Associate - Valve Department - Day Shift - $18.00-$20.00/hr
    Receives incoming materials, checks shipments, organizes products, and supports inventory and warehouse operations. Valve, fittings, flange, PVF, or related industrial materials experience is highly preferred.
  • VAP Coordinator / Shipping Coordinator - $18.00-$20.00/hr
    Coordinates shipping needs for special projects, tracks orders, communicates updates, and supports shipping documentation. This role is a good fit for someone with shipping, warehouse, order coordination, or special-project shipping experience.
  • Warehouse Packer - 2nd Shift - $19.00-$22.00/hr
    Packs and prepares warehouse orders for shipment while helping maintain organized and accurate work areas. Prior packing or warehouse experience is required.
  • Order Puller - 2nd Shift - $20.00-$24.00/hr
    Pulls and stages orders, verifies accuracy, and prepares materials for shipment in a warehouse environment. Prior order pulling experience is required.
  • Shipping Supervisor - $23.00-$26.00/hr
    Oversees shipping operations, coordinates workflow, supports warehouse teams, and helps ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Shipping leadership or warehouse supervisory experience is needed.

Some openings may require forklift experience, heavy-duty forklift experience, pipe knowledge, industrial warehouse experience, inventory/counting experience, tablet or computer use, bilingual Spanish/English skills, or shipping leadership experience.


Required PPE:

All workers must have the required PPE on the first day, including a safety vest, hardhat, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots that cover the ankles.
