Delivery Driver/Packer: Machesney Park, Illinois

Our customer in Machesney Park, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Delivery Driver/Packers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Delivery Driver/Packer, you will be responsible for safely delivering products while supporting warehouse operations including packing, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver/Packer
  • Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Pack, prepare, and stage orders for delivery or shipment.
  • Assist with warehouse operations including inventory picking and organization.
  • Utilize weigh count scales and maintain accurate counts of inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.
Delivery Driver/Packer Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good people and customer service skills.
  • General knowledge of computers.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory picking, and weigh count scales.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform cycle counts and understand the importance of inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to complete additional duties as requested.
