Settlement Officer: West Bend, Wisconsin

Our customer in West Bend, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Settlement Officers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Settlement Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating real estate transactions, preparing closing documents, and ensuring all closing requirements are met accurately and on time.

Responsibilities of the Settlement Officer:
  • Maintain and build strong working relationships with realtors, builders, lenders, and internal team members.
  • Prepare broker and settlement packages.
  • Provide final closing numbers to customers prior to closing.
  • Facilitate closings and coordinate all required documentation.
  • Fulfill title requirements for issuance of final policy.
  • Review and follow lender and draft instructions.
  • Review closed packages to ensure documents are properly executed and completed.
  • Ensure files meet organizational and compliance standards.
  • Forward payoffs and related payments to appropriate parties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Settlement Officer Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Professional, proactive, and positive approach when working with customers and team members.
  • Ability to calculate commissions, tax proration, and closing costs using math skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules and demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay for Settlement Officer: $21.00–$23.00/hour.
