Job description

CITITRENDS is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor in the Darlington, SC distribution center toThis role will work with LP and DC Operations to establish and maintain safety, security, and loss prevention standards within the CITITRENDS distribution centers by conducting regular audits across buildings, including safety compliance, associate access, operational processes, and yard conditions. It ensures accurate injury reporting, OSHA recordkeeping, and completion of investigations, while analyzing trends and driving corrective actions to improve workplace safety and compliance. The position also oversees security and life-safety systems such as CCTV, alarms, metal detectors, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits, performs data reporting and scorecard tracking, audits personnel actions, and leads theft investigations. In partnership with DC leadership, the role supports emergency preparedness efforts, including evacuation drills, while promoting continuous improvement across all safety and loss prevention programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct Weekly Safety Audit (both DC's) and follow up on corrective actions and/or trending data
  • Validate associate entrance and exit policies and review all employee screening audits (all buildings) and follow up on corrective actions and/or trending data
  • Review all failed inbound / outbound audits and identify remediation needed
  • Validate all injuries have been correctly recorded and all OSHA recordables have been logged and reported
  • Conduct monthly alarm tests on all external alarm points
  • Conduct random yard audit and report findings to DC Operations
  • Inspect CCTV, metal detectors, and all other LP equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Review and ensure completion of Injury Investigation and follow up on corrective actions and trending data
  • Audit terminations and elevated security badge access requests for proper execution
  • Data pull & input for DCLP Scorecard
  • Conduct theft investigations timely and report findings to Sr. Director of LP and DC HR
  • Conduct daily video reviews, floor walks and inspections to find and resolve internal theft issues
  • Establish productive partnership with local PD and Fire dept. personnel
  • Validate Fire Extinguisher and Emergency Exit Inspections have been completed
  • Conduct quarterly evacuation and tornado drills in partnership with DC leadership
  • Develop programs and protocol for training new and current associates on LP policies in the DCs
  • Initiate a New Hire Loss Prevention Orientation program in both DC's

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
  • Willingness to travel between DCs
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Background in implementing safety protocols in a warehouse or distribution center environment

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience supporting Loss Prevention in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Experience using Agilence, or similar exception reporting tool, to analyze data to identify potential issues
  • Experience using and managing CCTV and alarm systems
  • Working knowledge of LP Technologies and integration processes
  • Wicklander / Zulawski training or certification

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk frequently around the distribution center. The employee must frequently use their hands to handle or feel objects and must be able to speak and hear clearly
  • The employee may occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 25 Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception
  • The employee must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and on varying shifts
