Job description

Position Summary

The Loader is responsible for efficiently and safely loading, unloading, and moving products within the warehouse or distribution environment. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper handling of materials, and support for smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, or containers using manual methods or materialhandling equipment.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy (quantity, labels, and product condition).
  • Move, stack, and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Follow pick lists or load sheets to assemble orders correctly.
  • Use pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, or other equipment as required.
  • Inspect products and report damaged or missing items.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or materialhandling roles (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for long periods.
  • Basic reading, math, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
