BuySPRY is a rapidly growing e-commerce company specializing in premium refurbished electronics. Since 2009, we have served customers across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Europe through leading marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Back Market, Walmart, and Refurbed.

As we expand into New York, we are seeking an Operations Supervisor to help launch and lead our newest warehouse location. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building a growing operation from the ground up while working closely with company leadership.

What You'll Do

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading warehouse associates, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management, process improvement, and operational execution.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse associates
  • Set daily priorities and ensure productivity goals are achieved
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development as the operation grows

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee daily receiving, inventory handling, processing, and outbound shipments
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of inventory throughout the facility
  • Maintain warehouse organization, safety, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor workflow and staffing needs to maximize productivity

Inventory & Quality Control

  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Support product inspection, grading, refurbishment, and quality control processes
  • Ensure products meet company and marketplace quality standards

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce errors, and increase efficiency
  • Assist in implementing new operational procedures and best practices
  • Track and communicate key operational metrics and performance results
  • Partner with leadership to support warehouse growth initiatives

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the New York warehouse and headquarters teams
  • Communicate operational performance, inventory concerns, staffing needs, and escalated issues to leadership
  • Partner with Inventory, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure accurate inventory movement and reporting
  • Participate in regular meetings with headquarters to review performance metrics, priorities, and operational initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and process improvements to support company objectives

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce operations experience
  • Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, partners, and internal teams
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability and willingness to transport inventory, supplies, and other materials between warehouse locations, carriers, vendors, and business partners as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Experience with e-commerce, Amazon FBA, consumer electronics, or refurbishment operations is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to Maryland for training if requested
