Job description

Summary: Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials. Fills requisitions and orders. Packs, crates, and ships products and materials to distribution center, departments, or assembly line. May operate forklift if qualified. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks within the warehouse operation. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Able to communicate and work along with all employees.
Maintain work level that is compliant with the shift managers expectations in order to hit daily production goals.
Hands on type of environment, loading and unloading of cartons, freight, and merchandise in general.
Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirements.
Operate industrial power equipment such as forklifts, hand scanners, conveyors, computers, etc.
Perform general maintenance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Fill in for other positions as needed.
Perform general warehouse and production service duties.
Daily bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.
