Description

The Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our Fort Lauderdale warehouse, including order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping and receiving, trailer loading, and logistics coordination. This position supervises warehouse personnel and ensures customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
  • Monitor workflow to ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Ensure trailers are loaded safely and efficiently to maximize space utilization and minimize shipping costs
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping documentation and transportation requirements
  • Coordinate FGCI transfers and customer deliveries
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure all fleet vehicles receive required inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs while maintaining accurate maintenance and service records

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
  • Experience managing shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment operations
  • Strong leadership and employee management skills
  • ERP and Excel experience 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • CDL A with hazmat endorsement a plus
