Livingston Associates has partnered with a local company who is seeking a Warehouse Manager to add to their team!
The Warehouse Manager manages the day-to-day warehouse personnel and functions, spanning both the Windows and the Showers & Baths divisions. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for maintaining the vehicle fleet along with general maintenance of the grounds. They're responsible for establishing company targets (KPIโ€™s) and objectives, hiring and developing the warehouse team, finding cost savings in process improvements, developing strategic short- and long-term plans and responsible for providing an outstanding inhouse and external customer experience.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will run all of the daily functions of our Rochester, NY warehouse(s) for both the Windows and the Showers & Baths divisions, including inventory management, receiving, staging, daily loading of installer trucks, delivering supplies to job sites as needed, and warehouse team leadership.
Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures
  • Represent and instill the companyโ€™s core values
  • Organize and maintain warehouse appearance and functionality
  • Maintaining and monitoring all inventory levels of all consumables and commodity products
  • Coordinating deliveries of material to job sites and other divisions
  • Lifting and moving large windows and doors off of trucks
  • Staging all of the installersโ€™ materials for daily jobs
  • Ensuring installer trucks are kept organized and in working order
  • Managing all of the proper disposal and pick up of waste from jobs
  • Delivering supplies to job sites if needed
  • Documenting inventory and truck schedules
  • Monthly inventory counts
  • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition along with all loading areas
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
  • Ensure that warehouse employees have all of the necessary training and certifications
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Leads staff to meet departmental objectives
  • Establish departmental KPIโ€™s that support corporate strategic plans
  • Fleet vehicle monitoring and maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Proven ability to drive operational performance from plan to close
