The Position

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, we need someone who’s ready to lead from the floor—not from behind a desk. This is not an administrative-only position. You’ll be immersed in all aspects of our operation, learning the business from the ground up while making a direct and lasting impact.

We’re looking for someone with:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
At least 1 year of management experience in a Special Events/ Trade Show Furniture distribution center


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and participate in daily warehouse operations: prepping, picking, shipping, and delivery.
  • Roll up your sleeves and work side-by-side with your team when needed—lead by example.
  • Train, coach, and rebuild warehouse and delivery teams with a focus on accountability, performance, and team culture.
  • Monitor quality standards and inspect inbound/outbound orders.
  • Route delivery trucks in coordination with Branch Managers to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Lead weekly Operations/Sales calls to align cross-functional teams.
  • Handle delivery issues as they arise—creatively and proactively.
  • Manage triage, inspect returned product, and approve inventory for restocking.

  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Physically capable—able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, and stay active throughout the day.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing a furniture warehouse strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership in team rebuilding and operational improvement.
  • Forklift certified or willing to obtain AFR certification.
  • Familiar with budgeting, scheduling, and managing operational KPI.
