Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Norcross, GA

Salary: $70,000

About Us: We are a dynamic and growing company in the furniture and household items industry. Our primary clients are Interior Designers and Senior Living. As we expand, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in establishing efficient workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Operations Officer to develop and implement effective warehouse strategies and procedures.
  • Oversee a team of 10-14 warehouse staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, including the inspection, storage, and distribution of furniture and household items.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Implement safety protocols and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations to create a secure working environment.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and streamline operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for warehouse-related inquiries and escalate issues as needed to the Operations Officer.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management or a similar role within the logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

  • Willing to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, with occasional weekend availability for deliveries or urgent matters.
