Job Description SummaryPlease note: Hiring for this position is subject to funding availability and a limited number of openings. Applying does not guarantee employment.
The Student Worker will report to the Warehouse Manager and assists with day-to-day services needed so the warehouse and receiving function of the University operate accordingly.Job Description

Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

(1)Presents a professional demeanor.

(2)Performs limited reception duties as needed; answers telephone, greets visitors, provides requested information, or directs the person(s) to the appropriate office.

(3)Communicates service requests to Warehouse Manager in an organized and timely manner

(4)Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office;

performs basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database tasks

(5)Performs duties in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.

(6)Assists with the receiving, unpacking, checking of College materials reporting all issues to the Warehouse Manager.

(7)Assists in the timely and proper delivery of materials to college departments according to instructions

(8)Assists with records, both paper and electronic, pertaining to College purchases and functions of the College Warehouse and Receiving department

(9)Assists with the College's passenger vehicles, as directed by the Warehouse Manager; requires a valid driver's license and a proper driving record, as determined by the College's insurer

(10)Assists with the moving and storage of bulk materials and/or furnishings

(11)Assists with maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the Warehouse

Required Qualifications:Ability to lift up to a fifty pounds' package;possess some mechanical ability; basic knowledge of MicrosoftOfficeand High School graduate or equivalent. Mustbe awarded Work Study as part of Financial Aid award.

Preferred Qualifications: Attainment of certification in forklift/tow-motor operation may be required.
