Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to be involved in the shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment into and from the warehouse in our Honolulu, Hawaii office.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct inventory control, parts ordering, shipping/receiving, and tool/equipment management to ensure equipment is up to date and operating properly
  • Properly contain waste oil and schedule pickups by waste oil vendor to ensure proper disposal and complete documentation in compliance with Otis and State regulations
  • Prepare and submit required paperwork for state taxes due on hazardous waste shipments
  • Arrange delivery of parts or equipment to jobsites
  • Track and submit required paperwork for city parking permits and provide other vehicle fleet administration support

Education / Certifications
  • High School degree or equivalent required

Basic Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of warehouse and/or inventory management experience is required
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and have a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive F250 & F350 (1 ton+) trucks to coordinate and make material deliveries and pickups
  • Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) exam
  • Drive forklift

The salary range for this role is $72,000 to $84,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
