  • Analyze and translate federal logistics and warehousing requirements - including inbound and outbound processing, warehouse structure design, storage type and section configuration, and task and resource management - into functional design specifications and system configuration
  • Configure and maintain core SAP EWM components including warehouse structure, storage bin management, transfer orders, warehouse tasks, physical inventory, and yard management
  • Design and govern integration touchpoints between SAP EWM and related modules including SAP MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), and TM (Transportation Management)
  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with federal logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations stakeholders
  • Configure and validate SAP SCM processes including demand planning, supply network planning, and inventory optimization in support of federal supply chain visibility requirements
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior consultants on the SCM/EWM workstream, ensuring quality of deliverables and adherence to project and client standards
  • Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and end-user training materials for all SCM and EWM components
  • Ensure all logistics and warehousing configurations remain compliant with federal supply chain regulations, asset accountability requirements, and security protocols applicable to the classified operating environment

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and/or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) configuration and implementation
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting federal government clients or operating within regulated, defense, or classified supply chain environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP EWM configuration including warehouse structure design, storage type and bin management, transfer orders, physical inventory, and integration with SAP MM and PP
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Required Skills

  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) including warehouse structure configuration, storage type and section management, transfer orders, warehouse tasks, physical inventory, and yard management
  • Strong understanding of SAP Materials Management (MM) and its integration with EWM for goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and inventory management processes
  • Experience leading SCM/EWM workstreams on SAP implementations or sustainment engagements in federal, defense, energy, or other regulated supply chain environments
  • Proficiency in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes including demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and supply network visibility
  • Familiarity with federal asset accountability and property management requirements including FAR Part 45, DFARS property regulations, and agency-specific inventory control standards
  • Ability to gather, document, and validate logistics and warehousing business requirements from federal supply chain and operations stakeholders
