What you'll be doing:

  • Strategically manage various aspects within the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision
  • Initiate, coordinate and implement optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all general warehousing standards, and shipping code requirements
  • Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene and security
  • Recruit, select, coach and motivate employees
  • Produce production reports and performance statistics regularly
  • Maintain company standards of performance, adherence to policy, and operational practices

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, an Associate's degree is required, or an equivalent number of years of experience
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
