Job description

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and plan intra-logistics processes, capacities, material flow and technical equipment for the assigned organization unit.
  • Implement all related processes and systems for intra-logistics planning.
  • Analyze and forecast intra-logistics capacity to ensure appropriate storage room and equipment for handled goods and/or products to be delivered.
  • Plan efficient logistic processes and material flow for production supply and warehouse operations.
  • Provide planning expertise to support the Manager to negotiate services, and plan, coordinate and control logistics/warehouse service providers.
  • Implement layout change of the warehouse to better meet business needs e.g. new production line or investement initiatives.
Your Qualifications

Minimum: 

  • Associate's degree, or a high school diploma with proven relevant experience
  • Experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing routings, bills of materials (BOM), and QS/TS 9000 requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer applications, including mainframe systems, PC-based software, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic knowledge of plant operations
  • Ability to utilize scheduling reports to ensure on-time shipments
  • Capable of understanding and adapting manufacturing procedures and timelines
  • Able to lift moderately heavy items as required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship 

Preferred: 

  • Bachelors degree in business or similar
  • Multiple years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role 
  • SAP knowledge
