This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective handling, storage, inventory control, and transportation of raw materials and finished goods while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

What You'll DoLead and Develop a Strong Team
  • Train, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse team members to maximize engagement, performance, and accountability.

Oversee Warehouse Operations
  • Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Prioritize workload and coordinate daily operations to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and inventory control of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and process improvements.
  • Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth material flow and waste management processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Manage Transportation & Logistics
  • Oversee all outbound shipment scheduling and transportation activities.
  • Coordinate LTL, FTL, and small parcel shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
  • Resolve freight claims, shipment discrepancies, delays, and damages professionally and efficiently.
  • Monitor freight costs and transportation performance to identify opportunities for improvement and savings.
Drive Results & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and report department KPIs, including inventory accuracy, shipping performance, freight costs, productivity, and safety metrics.
  • Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes, layouts, workflows, and logistics operations.
  • Support company initiatives focused on operational excellence, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
What We're Looking ForEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant warehouse, transportation, or logistics management experience will be considered.
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, Warehouse Lead, or similar leadership role.
  • Experience managing warehouse operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Hands-on experience operating and overseeing the safe use of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) and material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
  • Experience training team members on warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
  • Experience managing LTL, FTL, and small parcel shipping operations.
  • Strong background in inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving operational improvements.
