Repair Services Associate

1st shift (6:45am- 3:15PM)

Onsite - Buffalo Grove

Pay Rate: $17.50 (weekly pay)

6 month contract (potential for extension or permanent role, no guarantee)


Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds***
  • Perform repairs on a wide range of printers, including mobile/handheld devices and large-format printers.
  • Complete basic service tasks while meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Service customer products by reviewing complaints, troubleshooting issues, performing mechanical repairs, conducting inspections, basic hand soldering, cleaning, testing, and final inspections.
  • Accurately document work performed, including symptom codes and reasons for parts replacement.
  • Follow established work instructions for functional tasks and assignments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including process standardization and documentation updates.
  • Resolve basic issues of limited complexity under direct supervision and conduct simple analysis with minimal variables.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Adherence to all safety practices and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions and processes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and support solution development.
