Job description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

A cross-functional position which responsibilities include; control the inventories through all processes and responsibility. Must be capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities as stated below as a team player while conducting oneself in accordance with the FMCNA core values.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be capable of operating within SAP and Info Link system using hand held scanner and truck mount to include the responsibility of the equipment.

  • Under limited supervision, applies considerable warehouse knowledge to perform a broad range of tasks which include but are not limited to loading, unloading, storing, and preparing shipments to include inner company, sales orders, international and domestic.

  • Verify quantity and condition of material inbound and outbound shipments, notes shortages. Endorses Bill of Lading to release liability of carrier with exceptions noted.

  • Sort and re stack pallets to assist Quality Systems with vendor lot numbers, Laminator Flow, freight and warehouse damage.

  • Deliver requisitioned material to appropriate department, and verify quantities.

  • Check bin status storage types.

  • Perform self-Quality Check processes to insure all orders are pulled correctly and completely.

  • Responsible for inventory accuracy at the bin level.

  • Pull Quality Systems (QS) samples in accordance with SOP prior to release and record on the quarantine control card.

  • Completes the MM verification of the physical quantity on the Lot Accountability Form (LAF)

  • Process incoming/outgoing material to proper location using Automatic Data Collection (ADC) equipment.

  • Ensure all transfer paperwork is complete and post Transfer Orders. Note breakdown of quantities, verify product code and lot number.

  • Stock rotation first in first out.

  • Create stock replenishment request.

  • Qualified and trained to operate material handling equipment and Forklifts. Performs Info Link Warehouse Fleet Management

    Pre trip Inspection.

  • Assist in loading/unloading production support trucks.

  • Pull components required for Production orders according to established procedures.

  • Use proper safety equipment.

  • Scrap material in accordance with NC's, MADR's and freight claims.

  • Remove any damaged finished good product and destroy. Pull Ethylene Oxide (EO) Quality samples for testing and evaluation. Complete additional discard and sample request in accordance with SOP procedure.

  • Maintains all assigned material handling equipment in good condition to ensure adherence safety standards.

  • Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently and according to the proper procedures.

  • Ensures a clean, neat and orderly work area, cleans and maintains supplies, tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations, Occupational Safety & health Administration (OSHA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) standards

  • May provide assistance to other warehouse associates, as directed by the Lead.

  • May escalate issues to the Lead for resolution, as deemed necessary.

  • Assist with various projects as assigned by the Lead.

  • Other duties as assigned. Assist in training newly assigned warehouse associates.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2 - 4 years' related experience.

  • Previous knowledge of warehouse operations is required.

  • Team player with organizational skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Fork-lift certification.
