Job description

Utz Quality Foods is looking for a dependable individual to join our team as a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person on 1st shift. This position will be based in our Goodyear, AZ facility, and is scheduled to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins and distributors.
  • Reads load sheets to determine quantity of each product that needs loaded to destinations.
  • Unloads inbound trailers and puts into inventory or designated areas in warehouse.
  • Operates sit down forklift when loading and unloading.
  • Assists with monthly Inventory.
  • Maintains integrity of rows and stands of product when pulling or adding to inventory.
  • Stacks empty pallets and places in a trailer.
  • Loads and unloads trailers as required per warehouse, and operates scanning devices.
  • Assures proper code rotation.
  • Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements
  • Requires basic math and reading skills.
  • Knowledge of types and locations of products and truck loading procedures acquired through on the job training.
  • Requires forklift operator's certification, to be completed onsite.
  • Required to wear non-slip shoes with safety toe and appropriate personal protective equipment
