The Brick is actively seeking to expand our distribution team. As Warehouse Equipment Operator you will be reporting to the Distribution Manager. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focused attitude! The starting wage for this job is $18.25 with shift premium. Negotiable based on previous experience.


  • Operate power and non-powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Other material handling equipment may be considered.
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Picking and put-away of all product types
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
  • Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures

  • Equipment operator experience on order picker is required. Experience on clamp truck is an asset. Other Material Handling Equipment experience will be considered.
  • Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading  sofas, etc.); some manual lifting is required to adjust the loads.
  • Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
