Job description

Warehouse Representative

Ensures efficient operation of the store and responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other items. The Warehouse Representative will join our mission to "Make the tech in the truck more efficient" and embrace our vision to "Enhance lives through solutions."

Essential Functions:

  • Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.
  • Receives and processes incoming product shipments and helps unload delivery truck.
  • Ensures shipments are inspected and damages are noted and documented.
  • Initiates records as products enter and leave the warehouse through a computerized inventory control system
  • Stores products in proper locations.
  • Receives, pulls, and properly prepares all customer orders.
  • Utilizes forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment when needed to store or pull inventory.
  • Monitors equipment to ensure safety and reports any issues to the supervisor.
  • Helps load products on delivery truck or for customer.
  • Ensures safety of the warehouse by keeping it clean and free of potential hazards.
  • Assists with training of new employees.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficient using company's inventory system.
  • Basic math skills to manage and maintain inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PA/IN/OH/KY/WV driver's license with acceptable driving record for the past three years
  • Certification and continuous training required by material handlers to operate heavy-lifting machinery like forklifts
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Forklift Certified.

Physical Demands of the Job:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally more.
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders.
  • Ability to push/pull inventory items.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl occasionally in confined spaces.
