Job description

The Warehouse Associate (Order Puller/Picker) retrieves product from warehouse storage shelves to fill customer orders placed through Customer Service or Lancaster Archery Supply website.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Retrieves top Summary Sheet and RF Device

• Retrieves cart from Cart area for order staging

• Pulls order items from warehouse storage shelves based off RF Device efficiently and accurately

• After all orders are pulled on RF Device, places cart with orders at Checking Area

• Labels (legibly) partial bags of product with quantity remaining in bag

• When unable to locate order item, accesses warehouse inventory on Computer to confirm in stock or possible other storage location

• Places orders with missing items in shipping box and places on Problem Table for Warehouse Coordinator with note indicating item(s) missing for research

• Restocks primary pick bins from overstock storage

• Consolidates partial boxes of product into one

• Makes sure bins are neat and flush with shelving

• Updates overstock locations as needed

• Informs Receiving if product is labeled incorrectly or in the wrong bin


Miscellaneous Housekeeping:

• Empties trash into garbage cans in the warehouse and takes to the dumpster

• Sweeps warehouse and keeps aisles clean and neat

• Removes empty pallets and sets next to the dumpster; stacks multiple pallets neatly by the backdoor and asks Receiving to use the forklift to remove them


Other Duties:

• Pulls transfers for trailer shows

• Pulls adjustments for Production

• Performs other duties and special projects determined by Management
