Job description

Position Summary

*Candidates must be open to travel to other warehouse locations across the United States as their development in the role and business needs evolve*

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Erie, Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, material handling, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bring strong warehouse systems experience, forklift operation skills, and a team-first attitude.

Safety is a core value of our operations. We are looking for someone who takes personal responsibility for workplace safety, follows established procedures, and helps foster a culture where every team member goes home safely each day.

Depending on volumes and business needs, some training may take place in our Strongsville, Ohio and Jamestown, New York locations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to other company warehouse locations to support training, operational initiatives, and business needs. Needs can shift quickly, the idea candidate will be ready and willing to travel with minimal notice.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, stage, and ship customer orders in accordance with company standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and inventory control systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
  • Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of products and materials.
  • Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with team members across operations, logistics, and customer service functions.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, or distribution center experience.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Experience with oversize pallets (eg: solar panels) a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for training and operational support.

Preferred

  • Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
  • Experience in a multi-site warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and process improvement methodologies.
