Position Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for accurately maintaining inventory records in the Companyโ€™s ERP system. They will work in a very collaborative environment alongside the operation and sales team.


This role is an hourly position and pays $18.00/hour.


What you'll be doing:

  • Manage all inventory operations including but not limited to counting, transfers, daily inventory audits, full inventory counts, cycle counting, and monthly short-dated checks.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory ensuring data is entered accurately in the companyโ€™s ERP and other related systems.
  • Reconcile physical counts; research discrepancies and report variances in cycle counts to management.
  • Creates and maintains organizational systems, policies, and procedures to store and distribute inventory.
  • Manage Interdepartmental and Intercompany communication relating to inventory issues.
  • Responsible for all inventory transactions (work order creation, stock transfers and intercompany transfers) and ensure inventory transactions are processed and controlled effectively.
  • Process intercompany transfer orders timely and accurately.
  • Ensures all inventory locations and bins are labeled, organized, and cleaned daily.
  • Lead the efforts to develop and refine inventory control processes.
  • Manage item set up and maintenance in ERP system.
  • Coordinates the use of UPC/GS1 for all Nexus Brands and creates all new item/SKU in conjunction with NPD and Purchasing.
  • Assist with Physical Inventory preparation and completion.
  • Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Companyโ€™s Values.

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Recommended 3+ years warehouse and inventory control experience
  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn new systems
  • Must be able to work M-F from 8a โ€“ 5p
  • Ability to show up and be on time to scheduled shifts
