Position Summary:
Utilizes best practices, systems, and established processes to coordinate, manage and support activities related to inventory, spoilage, liquidation and overall slot management for assigned division.
Essential Functions:
  • Supports local management with all analytics and communications related to inventory, including:
    • Weekly cooler list
    • Clear daily variance report
  • In collaboration with General Manager, selects and organizes items on monthly reserve list.
  • Serves as an information source, provides item-level recommendations and coordinates appropriate activity with slot/inventory owners, production managers, warehouse and other departments, as it relates to inventory, liquidation and slot management.
  • Serves as the communication point between warehouse and assigned divisional sales/marketing teams in regards to discrepancies of inventory levels.
  • Collaborates with other Divisional Inventory Specialists and divisional leadership to reduce inventory risk.
  • Ensures the accuracy of inventory information by cycle counting items in warehouse
  • Perform general warehouse duties when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • Must have strong mathematical skills and ability to calculate figures such as averages, proportions, percentages etc.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, email and internet software applications, and the ability to learn new software related to the role. Experience with databases is helpful.
  • Must have the ability to operate a keyboard and 10-key pad at high, accurate pace.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write routine reports and electronic correspondence.
  • Must have the ability to speak effectively in front of internal customers, suppliers or colleagues, both through phone and through face to face conversations.
  • Attention to processes and detail and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Must have skill in self management and task prioritization, accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments and reacts well under pressure and fluctuations in workload.
