Job description

Position Summary

Community Connect Staffing Solutions has a client that is in need of a Cherry Picker Operator / Inventory Clerk. The candidate is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to pick, move, and stage materials while also performing inventory control duties. This role supports both warehouse operations and inventory accuracy by combining equipment operation with administrative and cycle‐count responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Cherry Picker Operation

  • Operate a cherry picker / order picker to retrieve, move, and stage materials.
  • Safely lift, lower, and transport products from high‐bay racking.
  • Follow all OSHA, facility, and equipment safety guidelines.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

Inventory Clerk Duties

  • Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Label, organize, and maintain product locations for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with receiving, including verifying counts and inspecting materials.
  • Prepare inventory reports for supervisors or management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience operating a cherry picker / order picker.
  • Prior inventory control or warehouse clerk experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with WMS or inventory software is a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
