Position Summary

The Inventory Control Supervisor leads the daily operations of the Inventory Control department, overseeing Inventory Control Leads and their teams to ensure inventory accuracy, process compliance, and operational efficiency. This role drives continuous improvement, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), manages staffing, and partners with cross-functional teams to support warehouse performance and company objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily Inventory Control operations, including staffing, scheduling, and team performance.
  • Oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments to maintain accuracy.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement standardized inventory processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations, Receiving, Shipping, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, and Warehouse Management to resolve inventory issues and support new initiatives.
  • Prepare inventory reports, maintain audit readiness, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Inventory Control team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse inventory control processes and best practices.
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems and inventory management.
  • Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cycle counts, inventory audits, KPI reporting, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and multitasking skills.

Work Environment

  • Active warehouse environment requires frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including a Cherry Picker, as needed.


Target Compensation Range: The posted pay range of $50,000-$60,000 represents the anticipated hiring range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, internal compensation practices, and other job-related business considerations, consistent with applicable law.
