Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading and unloading all Raymond West equipment including taking inventory and store materials in the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for accurately monitoring of all dock movements of product and ensures that each shipped or received item is properly identified and tagged. Performs various shop duties as assigned to maintain the shop and warehouse facilities in good order.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.

  • Load and unload Materials and Equipment
  • Responsible for disposing waste appropriately and safely, this may include.
    • dumping oil
    • crushing oil filters
    • disposing spray cans

  • Responsible for shipping and receiving functions at dock.
  • Make sure all equipment is properly tagged.
  • Responsible for storing equipment such as racking or lift trucks in a designated area within the warehouse.
  • Maintain and track the warehouse Inventory supplies which also includes tools, and materials.
  • Responsible for cleaning various pieces of equipment by steam cleaning
  • Maintain warehouse floors, which may include sweeping and mopping.
  • Must maintain renewed isle and demo isle in the warehouse, this includes cleaning trucks keeping them lined up and dusted.
  • Empty trash receptacles as needed.
  • Assist technicians with minor repairs.
  • Deliver and receive parts when needed.
  • Must keep Shop and Racking area clean and organized.
  • Ensure everything is secured at the end of every day.
  • Must report all accidents immediately.
  • Must follow all procedures in the company's Employee Handbook.
  • Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment regarding safety.
  • Perform miscellaneous jobs as needed.

Receiving

  • Must identify ownership of all assets delivered to the dock of the warehouse.
  • Must properly tagged all incoming equipment and follow tagging procedure which includes tagging Racking, Lift trucks, batteries, and chargers individually.
  • Must complete all paperwork including "bill of ladings" and send to the proper department.
  • Must verify all items received match all items listed on paperwork this includes entering quantity/serial number and report any discrepancies.
  • Must ensure all RW assets are stenciled and or tagged before leaving the dock.
  • Responsible for communicating with Truck Drivers and ensure no Driver moves assets from the dock area.
  • Must report any damage found on incoming assets to the respective department.
  • Must report to leadership any department that does not provide proper and timely paperwork for items coming into the warehouse.

Shipping

  • Must verify proper paperwork is present along with the matching asset and serial number prior loading asset onto trucks for shipment.
  • Make sure all assets loaded onto trucks are done in a safe manner while following proper procedure, this ensures safety and protection from damage during transport.
  • Responsible for removing any obsolete tags from assets prior to shipment.
  • Must keep the dock area clear and refrain from storing assets on the dock.
  • Must report to leadership any department that does not provide proper and timely paperwork for items shipped through the system.

Warehouse Inventory Control

  • Responsible for storing equipment/assets in the appropriate area within the warehouse.
  • Must maintain and keep an organized Inventory of the following areas.
    • Racking
    • New trucks, Batteries, Chargers
    • Rental trucks, batteries, and chargers
    • Used trucks, batteries, and chargers.
    • Systems assets,
    • Customer trucks
    • Scrap trucks
    • Lease returns
    • Used retail ready area.
    • Battery changing/storage area.
    • 10 Pallet racks


  • Ensure all asserts are stored and parked in even rows according to procedure. This includes providing a passageway break between trucks every 15 yards.
  • Must ensure all covers and panels are kept in place on any equipment as required.
  • Responsible for moving and making any corrections for assets found in the incorrect spot, this includes corrections in the system or in the Warehouse.
  • Must ensure no unauthorized personnel is allowed to remove an asset or part from the warehouse.
  • Responsible for removing Batteries from used trucks prior to storing.
  • Must perform cycle inventories once a month. Any discrepancies found must be investigated and corrected immediately, this includes re- tagging the asset and matching it in the system.

House keeping

  • Must keep the warehouse and the lot clean free of debris with all equipment parked in neat even rows.
  • Complete assigned housekeeping tasks assigned each day.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments.
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Willing to comply with employee handbook and company policies.
  • Present a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
  • Must be able to take direction.
  • Willing and motivated to continue education and skills.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly and perform accurately and neatly with a degree of flexibility.
  • Must have manual dexterity to handle office tasks and to operate company equipment.
  • Willing to support all phases of the department and company as needed.
  • Able to perform duties under minimal supervision, adjust to changes and demonstrate drive and initiative.
  • Maintain a professional attitude in all matters.

Education/Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

  • The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
