Inventory Counter – Cycle Counting & Warehouse Inventory
Location:
Wappingers Falls, NY

Pay Rate:
$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Must be available for overtime and occasional Saturday work
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Counter to support warehouse inventory accuracy in Wappingers Falls, NY. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cycle counting, inventory control, and discrepancy research who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, meeting counting deadlines, and helping ensure inventory integrity across operations.
Inventory Counter Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cycle counts and physical inventory checks
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and help resolve count variances
  • Operate a cherry picker and forklift to access and count inventory
  • Use scanners, handheld inventory devices, and warehouse systems to record counts accurately
  • Meet daily and weekly counting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Assist with inventory audits and stock verification processes
  • Communicate count issues and inventory concerns clearly with team members and supervisors

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience primarily focused on cycle counting and inventory control
  • Experience operating a cherry picker and forklift required
  • Comfortable using scanners, handheld inventory devices, and warehouse technology
  • Basic computer skills required; ERP experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to count accurately for extended periods
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and work under deadline pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and count for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs
