Position Summary

The Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, organization, and control of CURIS System's warehouse, including all shipping, receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and movement of materials, finished goods, equipment, and service parts.
This position serves as the primary point of accountability for warehouse operations and shipping and receiving activities and is responsible for maintaining accurate physical and electronic records associated with those activities. The position also owns inventory accuracy and organization and provides support for facility operations.
Approximately 25% travel is required, primarily to assist with field bio-decontamination services and related operational needs. This position requires a high degree of urgency, responsiveness, organization, proactive communication, and follow-through.
1. Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving — Primary Responsibility

  1. Coordinate and perform daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping.
  2. Receive incoming shipments and verify materials, quantities, condition, and documentation against purchase orders, packing slips, or other applicable records.
  3. Maintain accurate physical and electronic shipping and receiving logs and ensure transactions are recorded promptly.
  4. Prepare outbound shipments and ensure materials, quantities, packaging, labeling, and required documentation are accurate prior to shipment.
  5. Coordinate with freight carriers, parcel services, customers, vendors, and internal personnel regarding pickups, deliveries, and time-sensitive shipments.
  6. Proactively monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and communicate delays, discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, or other issues requiring attention.
  7. Respond promptly to urgent requests from internal personnel, customers, vendors, carriers, and field-service personnel, including by telephone when necessary.
  8. Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse/material-handling equipment in accordance with company safety requirements.
  9. Maintain a clean, organized, accessible, and safe warehouse environment.
  10. Ensure materials are appropriately identified, labeled, segregated, protected, and stored.
  11. Support the staging, loading, and return of equipment and materials used for field-service and bio-decontamination projects.
  12. Ensure warehouse operations comply with applicable company procedures, GMP, ISO 13485, safety, and quality-system requirements.
  13. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  14. Perform all other duties as assigned.
2. Inventory Control

  1. Maintain accurate physical and electronic inventory records for materials, finished goods, equipment, consumables, and service parts.
  2. Ensure physical inventory corresponds with quantities and locations recorded in company systems and logs.
  3. Conduct scheduled cycle counts and participate in or coordinate full physical inventories.
  4. Investigate inventory discrepancies and promptly communicate unresolved variances.
  5. Follow inventory-control procedures designed to minimize discrepancies, loss, damage, misplacement, and obsolete inventory.
  6. Maintain appropriate inventory locations, labeling, identification, traceability, and organization.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate potential shortages or replenishment needs to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Ensure incoming and outgoing inventory transactions are accurately and promptly reflected in inventory records.
  9. Maintain required inventory documentation in accordance with applicable company quality procedures.
  10. Ensure inventory practices comply with applicable GMP, ISO 13485, quality-system, and regulatory requirements.
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned.
3. Facilities Support

  1. Monitor facility conditions and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements as directed.
  2. Coordinate with approved janitorial, landscaping, security, maintenance, and other facility-service providers.
  3. Help ensure the facility remains clean, organized, safe, secure, and operational.
  4. Coordinate installation and maintenance activities involving specialized equipment used in bio-decontamination device manufacturing and servicing.
  5. Promptly identify and escalate facility issues that may affect employee safety, manufacturing, warehouse operations, inventory, product quality, or business continuity.
  6. Maintain applicable facility and maintenance records.
  7. Support compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, safety, and company requirements.
  8. Perform all other duties as assigned.
4. Field / Decontamination Support

  1. Travel approximately 25%, including overnight travel when required.
  2. Assist trained CURIS personnel with field bio-decontamination services and related activities as assigned.
  3. Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment, materials, and supplies for field projects.
  4. Prepare, stage, verify, load, and account for equipment and inventory required for field projects.
  5. Assist with the handling, setup, breakdown, cleaning, transportation, and return of equipment as trained and authorized.
  6. Ensure equipment and unused materials returning from field projects are properly received, recorded, inspected as applicable, and returned to their appropriate locations.
  7. Perform other field-support responsibilities as trained and assigned.
