Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (40+ Hours Weekly)
Pay - $18-20/HR DOE
Carroll Water is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing, and material distribution. This role is critical to ensuring our service, installation, drilling, and pump teams have the parts, equipment, and supplies needed to serve our customers efficiently.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining an organized warehouse, and has strong inventory, logistics, and vendor coordination skills.
What You'll Do
Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Manage and maintain warehouse and yard inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure critical stock items remain available.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control systems.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse, yard, and storage areas remain clean, organized, and professional.
Purchasing & Vendor Coordination
• Order materials, equipment, and supplies from approved vendors.
• Coordinate deliveries and schedules with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Monitor lead times and proactively manage inventory replenishment.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and inventory efficiencies.
Operations Support
• Coordinate the movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the organization.
• Ensure technicians and production teams have the materials and equipment needed for scheduled work.
• Work closely with service, installation, drilling, and pump departments to support daily operations.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials for upcoming projects.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Safety & Compliance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Ensure materials are stored properly and safely.
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs as required.
Qualifications
Required
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.
Preferred
• 5+ years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, purchasing, or operations experience.
• Forklift experience and certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Experience with inventory control systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management software.
• Knowledge of plumbing, water treatment, drilling, pump systems, or construction-related materials.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout warehouse and yard areas.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
