Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and team leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating freight, maintaining efficient warehouse processes, and ensuring a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound LTL and truckload (TL) shipments.
  • Schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt and shipment of materials.
  • Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations and lead a small warehouse team.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and documentation of inventory.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support production and material flow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution environment.
  • Experience coordinating LTL and truckload freight shipments.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Forklift experience and familiarity with material handling equipment.
  • Working knowledge of UPS and Fed Ex Shipping software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.

 
Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
