Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial in ensuring that related warehouse inventory operations meet the set standards for quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

I. Quality Assurance and Control
โ€ข Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and standards for warehouse inventory.
โ€ข Regularly inspect and evaluate inventory, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
โ€ข Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics staff to ensure quality procedures are integrated into all warehouse operations.
โ€ข Audits all the Outbound loads to ensure that the loads are of good quality and accuracy.
โ€ข Ensure regular and systematic quality audits of all warehouse products, including the received, stored, handled, and shipped.
II. Audit Management
โ€ข Observe warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, handling, shipping, and inventory management, to identify areas for improvement and work with the General Manager and the Assistant General Manager for solutions.
โ€ข Prepare audit reports and make recommendations to the General Manager and the Assistant General Manager based on audit findings.
โ€ข Follow up on implementing corrective actions derived from audits and inspections.
III. Compliance Monitoring
โ€ข Ensure that the handling of all products in the warehouse complies with industry standards and regulations set by governmental agencies and internal policies.
โ€ข Stay updated with changes in legislation and regulations that affect the handling of warehouse products and ensure timely compliance.
IV. Inventory Accuracy
โ€ข Conduct regular inventory control processes, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and aging analysis, to maintain accuracy and integrity in inventory management.
โ€ข Implement and monitor preventative measures to ensure inventory is managed within the established guidelines.
โ€ข Conduct regular pallet inspections to look for broken boards, unevenness, moisture damage, and delamination. Fix damaged pallets and report them to Management.
โ€ข Coordinate individual checks of items on pallets for defects and remove the defective items from pallets and removal, repalletization: Employees check each item from the pallet if any are found. We send it back to be corrected.
โ€ข Ensure that the warehouse floor/storage spaces and pallets are adequately labeled to avoid incorrect labels, which can lead to picking and inventory errors and customers receiving the wrong orders.
V. Process Improvement
โ€ข Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
โ€ข Collaborate with warehouse management to implement process changes that enhance inventory quality and ensure quality standards are consistently met.
VI. Training and Development
โ€ข Develop and deliver training programs for quality assurance and control standards, procedures, and best practices.
โ€ข Ensure all warehouse staff are trained in quality assurance requirements and understand their role in maintaining these standards.
VII. Documentation and Reporting
โ€ข Maintain accurate records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
โ€ข Analyze data and report on audit results and quality issues to management, providing actionable insights.
VIII. Supplier and Customer Issues
โ€ข Continually report to management all incoming products in bad conditions so that management can liaise with relevant actors for corrections. Work closely with management suppliers and customers to ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing products and materials.
โ€ข Address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Forklift Operator Certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
