Overview

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and efficient material flow. This role plays a critical part in supporting service, parts, and sales departments by ensuring parts and materials are received, stored, and distributed accurately and safely.

By maintaining organization, process discipline, and strong communication, the Warehouse Coordinator helps drive operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and support overall dealership performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of parts and materials.

  • Ensure accurate inventory control by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining organized storage locations.

  • Receive inbound shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and ensure timely and accurate system entry.

  • Support service and parts departments by ensuring timely delivery and availability of parts to minimize technician downtime.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety and OSHA standards.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, backorders, or discrepancies to leadership.

  • Assist with vendor coordination, returns, and warranty-related parts handling as needed.

  • Utilize inventory management systems and DMS platforms to track parts movement and maintain accurate records.

  • Collaborate with parts, service, and operations teams to improve warehouse processes and workflow efficiency.
